Dunstan Thomas’ Imago Front Office and Imago Back Office programs will be incorporated into Ascentric’s investment administration services and its main wrap platform. The setup will benefit customers of Ascentric’s new self-invested personal pension (Sipp), the Ascentric Pension Account, which was launched earlier this month.
Chris Read, chairman of Dunstan Thomas, said an increasing number of wrap platform providers were seeking out his firm’s services. He said Dunstan Thomas was helping companies expand their range of tax wrappers, supporting their in-house products and extend their service offerings.
“As wrap platforms increase their assets under management and move into strong profitability we will see an increase in the deployment of our tools as they look to fill out their service and product portfolios,” he said.
Ascentric’s head of marketing, Dominic Ventham, added: “The launch of the Ascentric Pension Account supports our primary aim of giving IFAs and their clients the widest possible selection of products to choose from. Our use of Dunstan Thomas’ technology marries a simple, low-cost Sipp with a market leading web service giving IFAs more reasons to place pensions business with us.”
Dunstan Thomas says its Front Office program supports all four stages of the financial advice process, while the Back Office package allows flexibility for retirement options such as drawdown. It also allows customers an overview of all their assets across products and wrappers.
