Patterson: Almost all the major asset managers have signed up

FRC code take-up soars after guide publication

The National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) has received written promises from 25 schemes to sign up to the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) code.

And it is anticipating increased take-up on the back of a new guide, offering a simplified explanation of the rules signatories are expected to follow.

The NAPF’s Guidance for Investors document goes further than the FRC, calling for members to publicly justify not signing up.
